Compared with the first quarter of 2015, shipments from January through March rose by 11.5 percent to 108,195 from 97,074 units, according to the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association, a Virginia-based national trade group. The growth trend, which experts predict will continue this year and into 2017, comes after the industry posted strong sales in 2015, said Matt Rose, director of RVs for the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association, Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council.
