Go RVing, Sports Illustrated Kicks Off 2nd Tailgate Tour

The Sports Illustrated (SI) on Campus Tailgate Tourpresented by Go RVing will kick off its second year at the Florida State – Oklahoma State football game on Saturday, Aug. 30, at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX.

In its debut last year, more than 30,000 consumers attended the Go RVing and Sports Illustrated tailgate events with more than 4,000 touring the featured RVs over the course of the tour’s six stops at college football games.

Based on that success, this year’s Sports Illustrated (SI) on Campus Tailgate Tour presented by Go RVing, which will feature a Fleetwood Storm Game Day edition motorhome and a Keystone Bullet travel trailer, is being expanded to 10 college football games.

The tour is designed to be a high-impact, on-site consumer event that showcases RVs the ideal tailgate vehicles and provides fans the opportunity to tour the units.  There will also be cooking demonstrations with celebrity chefs, fan games and giveaways, and autograph and photo opportunities with Sports Illustrated personalities and college football alumni.

An online sweepstakes is also a key element of the tour with the grand prize winner awarded a Fleetwood Storm motorhome.  Through the partnership with Sports Illustrated, Go RVing content and video coverage of the tour stops will appear on Sports Illustrated website properties and their social media outlets.

Following the Florida State – Oklahoma State game, the SI on Campus Tailgate Tour presented by Go RVing will hit the Ohio State – Virginia Tech game in Columbus, OH on Sept. 6; the Iowa – Iowa State game in Iowa City, IA on Sept. 13; the Nebraska – Miami game in Lincoln, NE on Sept. 20; the UCLA – Utah game in Los Angeles, CA on Oc. 4; the Oklahoma – Kansas State game in Norman, OK on Oct. 18; the Tennessee – Alabama game in Knoxville, TN on Oct. 25; the South Carolina – Tennessee game in Columbia, SC on Nov. 1; the North Carolina State – Georgia Tech game in Raleigh, NC on Nov. 8; and the Florida – South Carolina game in Gainesville, FL.
