RVIA’s Mac Bryan Announces Retirement

RVIA has announced that Mac Bryan, senior vice president of finance and operations, will retire after 39 years with the organization. In order to facilitate a smooth transition, Bryan is expected to stay until his successor is named. RVIA is commencing a search that is expected to be concluded by the end of the year.

“Mac has contributed tremendously to the success of RVIA and the RV industry over the course of his outstanding career,” said RVIA Chairman of the Board Derald Bontrager of Jayco, Inc. “On behalf of the Board of Directors and the membership, I want to offer our heartfelt appreciation for the exemplary leadership and service he has provided in building RVIA into a strong, member-focused organization and extend our best wishes for a happy, healthy retirement. He has definitely earned it.”

In his position at RVIA, Bryan is responsible for a diverse portfolio of key association activities across an extensive range of functional areas, including managing the accounting, finance and human resources departments. In addition, he has directed RVIA’s membership department that consistently represented the manufacturers and suppliers of 98% of all RVs manufactured.  He also has led a robust market data and information operation that provided critical and actionable insight to industry members, including monthly and annual reports on RV wholesale shipments, quarterly forecasts for RV shipments, and a series of consumer research studies.

“For four decades, Mac has shown tremendous leadership at RVIA, and his vast knowledge of both the industry’s history as well as that of the association simply cannot be replaced.  His accomplishments are too numerous to count, and as an organization we’ve been extremely fortunate to have had such a dedicated professional leading on so many member-facing endeavors,” said RVIA President Frank Hugelmeyer. “On behalf of a grateful industry, RVIA wishes him all the best in retirement and our deepest gratitude for his enormous impact and exceptional legacy.”

“It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve the RV industry and the association over the years I’ve been here, and I want to thank all the members and staff who supported and guided me along the way.” said Bryan. “I’m extremely proud to have been a part of all that RVIA has accomplished, but more than that I will treasure the many warm friendships formed with the staff and members.
