CNBC Showcases RV Market Strength

RVs – and CEOs – from Thor Industries and Winnebago took their place on the plaza of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in August for CNBC interviews with two of the cable network’s most highly rated programs to discuss their companies and the strength of the RV market.

On Monday, Aug. 29, Jim Cramer did a live-to-tape interview with Thor CEO Bob Martin that was conducted during the day and ran on Mad Money at that evening.  The “hook” for Martin’s appearance with Cramer was Thor Industries’ celebration of the 30th anniversary of its listing on the NYSE, commemorated when Martin , joined by other Thor executives, ran the 4 p.m. closing bell wrapping up that day’s trading.

Speaking of The Closing Bell, that is the name of the CNBC program on which Winnebago CEO Michael Happe appeared on Friday, Aug. 12, in a live segment on the NYSE Plaza.   Just as was the case with Martin, Happe was able to speak not only to the strong success of his company in 2016, but also to the performance of the entire industry and the great promise that the future holds.

RVIA’s public relations team worked with CNBC, Thor and Winnebago to arrange the coverage and provide market data.
