Go RVing Wraps Up Production Shoot in Elkhart

Go RVing wrapped up a 3-day video shoot in Elkhart on Aug. 27 that will provide images for the national advertising campaign's new creative elements, scheduled to debut in 2010.


The production shoot focused on new products and innovations that have hit the RV market recently (Above, the shoot at an Elkhart area campground.). This new footage will be combined with existing footage and still photographs in the Go RVing archives to create new television commercials that will stress the timely messages about the value of RV ownership and travel.  It will also be used to fresehn up the Go RVing website and consumer video, which lacked images of smaller, fuel-efficient, lightweight and eco-friendly RVs. 


Eight RVIA manufacturer representatives were selected in a lottery to represent several product categories.  Those participating included: Damon Avanti Type A, Winnebago Via Type A, Roadtrek Adventurous Type B, Jayco Precept Type C, Forest River R-Pod Ultra-Lightweight Travel Trailer, Evergreen Ever-Lite Lightweight Travel Trailer, Airstream Ocean Breeze Lightweight Travel Trailer, and Heartland RV Sundance Ultra Lightweight Fifth Wheel. Consistent with all Go RVing productions, vehicle logos will be concealed to eliminate individual product branding.


RVIA Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Gary LaBella said, “The footage from this week’s Go RVing shoot will highlight the industry’s eco-friendly innovations while showing the fun, family-friendly activities RVers enjoy. We look forward to sharing the products of this shoot when the new Go RVing creative is launched at Outlook 2010: Let the Sun Shine, December 1 in Louisville.
