“Outlook 2011: A New Era Begins” Kicks Off National RV Trade Show

“Outlook 2011: A New Era Begins” will kick off the 48th National RV Trade Show with a lineup of insightful presentations that will focus on how the RV industry can meet the challenges and take advantages of the opportunities that a changing, more cost-conscious, linked-in market will present next year and beyond.

The free event will begin at 7 a.m. with a complimentary sit-down breakfast in the KEC South Wing C Mezzanine Ballroom. As one of the industry’s most anticipated annual events, another enthusiastic crowd of more than 1,000 is expected to be on hand and attendees are urged to arrive early as lines form before the doors officially open.

RVIA Chairman Gregg Fore will host the high-energy, multimedia program which will feature “Forging Our Future” with Richard Coon sharing his thoughts on the important trends impacting the RV market and how RVIA is working to forge a bright future for the industry.

In Go RVing: Inspiration for a New Era, Go RVing co-chairs Bob Olson and Tom Stinnett join RVIA Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Gary LaBella to introduce the new Go RVing Leads Plus program, report on the impact of the Ambassadors of Affordability campaign, and unveil new plans for 2011.

RVIA Public Relations: A New Era of Possibilities with RVIA Public Relations Committee Chair B.J. Thompson and LaBella will feature the duo discussing tools and strategies to maximize the exposure of RVing in a changing media landscape and sharing some of the resulting high-impact publicity that’s helping stoke demand for RVs.

As always, the Outlook program will also feature several special guests, and this year’s roster includes:
• NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw – Appearing courtesy of the generous sponsorship of EverGreen Recreational Vehicles, the former Pittsburgh Steelers great with his contagious enthusiasm will provide brief remarks on his personal game plan detailing what it takes to achieve success.
• Performance artists Quick Change – As an official halftime act for the NBA and former contestants on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, David Maas and Dania Kaseeva thrill and mystify audiences with their dramatic, sudden and amazing colorful costume changes.
• The inspiring Patrick Henry Hughes – His motivating story has been told on Oprah, Ellen, Today and ABC’s Extreme Make Over Home Edition. Born unable to walk and without eyes, Patrick Henry is a musical genius who began playing the piano at nine months old, and with the help of his father Patrick John is a member of the Louisville Cardinal Marching Band. Patrick Henry will perform at Outlook 2011 and share his story of overcoming obstacles, seeing what’s on the inside, and being more than you think you can.

“This promises to be another tremendous Outlook event with a program that both informs and entertains,” said LaBella.  “We expect attendees will enter the show excited about the prospects for the RV industry as it enters a new era.”

The Outlook program and breakfast are free for attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.  All Louisville show attendees are welcome, and no reservations necessary. Show badge registration will be available in the South Wing Lobby C Entrance.
