Go RVing Goes to the Movies

Go RVing’s “Ambassadors of Affordability” will light up the silver screen later this month when the popular animated animals begin appearing on National CineMedia’s “First Look,” a pre-feature entertainment package shown in select theaters nationwide.

From Feb. 25 through March 31, Go RVing-branded segments targeting families will appear in “First Look” programming shown prior to the G and PG-rated movies Gnomeo and Juliet 3D, Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never, Rango, Mars Needs Moms 3D and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.  Go RVing’s content will include two custom-produced teasers, its two-and-a-half minute family RV adventure “Mountain Playground,” and a 30-second spot from the 2011 TV campaign.

These Go RVing segments will be a part of “First Look” programming in rotation at over 600 AMC, Loew’s, Cinemark, Century, Regal, Hollywood and other theaters in National CineMedia’s network.  Approximately 20 million consumer impressions are projected across the buy.

“Advertising with ‘First Look’ ahead of these popular movies allows Go RVing to reach families with positive messages about how RVing helps promote family togetherness at a time when they will be together, having fun and enjoying each other's company,” said James Ashurst, RVIA’s vice president of public relations and advertising.
