RVIA’s Coon Addresses Industry Challenges at “Forecast 2009” [View]
RVIA President Richard Coon addressed Committee Week attendees Tuesday, June 10 at the second annual “Forecast 2009” luncheon. Coon endorsed the industry forecast given by Dr. Richard Curtin, saying that RVIA “agrees with Dr. Curtin” and delivered supporting remarks emphasizing the industry’s strength and resilience.

Sixth Annual Advocacy Day a Success [View]
RVIA’s Advocacy Day was a huge success this year, with the largest member turnout in the history of the event. Thirty-two RVIA members participated in the June 11 event in Washington, D.C. - ten more than last year’s event. This year fifty meetings with Members of Congress or Congressional staff were scheduled, and a record 17 of those meetings were with the Senators or Representatives themselves.

Survey Shows RV Owners Are Adjusting to Higher Fuel Costs [View]
Despite high fuel prices, 82 percent of RV owners say RV vacations cost less than other types of vacations. This is one of the reasons why so many RVers plan to travel this spring and summer. Most RVers are simply adjusting to fuel costs rather than not traveling in their RVs, according to a new study.
