Can my order be shipped overnight or 2nd day air?

A.

Orders placed by 1:00 pm EST can be shipped overnight or 2nd day air for an additional handling fee of $15.00 plus the cost of shipping. The cost of shipping is calculated on the web-site by delivery address. At this time, overnight and 2 day shipping is available for U.S. orders only. Overnight or 2^nd day air shipping is not available for the Market Report subscription.

What is the status of my previously placed order?

A.

Please call RVIA with your order number so staff can check on the status of your order. Without an order number it is more difficult to locate your order.

How do I cancel an already submitted order?

A.

Please email Susan Strauss, sstrauss@rvia.org, within 24 hours of submitting your on-line order so that your credit card transaction can be reversed and to ensure your order has not already shipped. If you requested any special shipping such as overnight or 2^nd day air, it may be impossible to cancel your order. If your ordered has already shipped, cancellation is no longer an option.

How do I return my products for a refund?

All orders are non-returnable and non-refundable: view the available Table of Contents on the “more info” product link to be sure you are purchasing the correct publication.

Each publication available is displayed with a picture, detailed description and even a sample Table of Contents (“more info” product link) to assist customers in identifying the correct publication.

What standards do I need to use when building an RV?

A.

NFPA 1192 Standard for Recreational Vehicles NFPA 70 National Electrical Code (NOT AVAILABLE THROUGH RVIA - To order from NFPA call: 1-800-344-3555 or visit http://www.nfpa.org/catalog)
ANSI/RVIA 12V Standard for Low Voltage Systems on Recreational and Conversion Vehicles
A helpful but not necessary publication would be RVIA's Guide to 1192 which includes sections on all three publications listed above.

Q.

What edition of a standard was my vehicle built in compliance with?

A.

The standards are updated approximately every three years (1993, 1996, 1999, 2002 etc.) You will need the edition of the standard that was in effect at the time your unit was built. For example if you purchased a 1995 unit, you should purchase the 1993 edition of the standard. Previous editions are available by calling RVIA.

What is included in the Market Report subscription?

A.

New Market Report subscriptions include the most recent issue of Profile and RV Roadsigns and shipped at the beginning of the month following the placement of the order. Monthly Reports are mailed at the beginning of each month.

Are publications available in soft copy (electronically)?

A.

Market Reports, Roadsigns and Industry Profile are available electronically to members via the members-only section of the RVIA web-site. Non-members will only receive these publications in hardcopy. No other publications are available electronically at this time.
