Deliveries to retailers of all RVs were reported at 15,400 units in the September survey of manufacturers, off 9% from last month and down 42.5% from this same month last year.  This marked the eleventh consecutive month where shipments were lower than the same month a year earlier and was the lowest monthly shipment total since November 2001.

Seasonally adjusted, September shipments represented an annual rate of 197,000 units, just slightly ahead of the previous month.  Although all categories of vehicles participated in this month’s decline, overall the pace of the declines appear to have slowed.
