Education is one of the driving forces of humankind. It is true for a Recreational Vehicle Service Technician just as it is true for any other high tech or professional career. Despite the increased emphasis on primary, secondary and university education, the knowledge and skills acquired in school are not sufficient for a 3 or 4 decades long professional career. Distance Learning Network (DLN)

The RV Training Institute at Lake City Community College, Lake City, FL in partnership with the national RV Dealers Association (RVDA) and the Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) offer a distance learning training program for the RV Industry. Video based instruction, delivered via the internet, is ideal for group or individual instruction. Programs for Certification Training and Advanced Product Information are offered. (

NRVTI Schools

The National Recreation Vehicle Technical Institute, or NRVTI, is a nation-wide program consisting of a network of Community Colleges and Technical Colleges that offer an RV industry developed curriculum.  The goal of this curriculum is to train you in the diverse technical fields required of an RV Service Technician.
