The RV Industry Association opposes any additional requirements other than a car driver's license to operate an RV.

Annual federal accident statistics indicate that RV drivers are among the safest drivers on the road. RV owners are not stressed drivers. They are on vacation and are neither hurried nor impatient. They are conscientious and defensive in their driving because their RV is a significant investment and their family is usually with them. No state requires a commercial driver's license to operate an RV.
