Conducting Business in China Webinar

What will be covered? Background on China, Chinese business customs and culture, how to negotiate with the Chinese, exporting issues including shipping, duties, and VAT, customs and financing, developing a business strategy, finding the right Chinese partner to be your dealer or for licensing and joint venture agreements, protecting intellectual property rights, complying with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Department of Commerce resources.

Who should attend? RV and PT manufacturers and suppliers interested in doing business in China.

This webinar will be presented by:
Evan Chuck leads the law firm of Bryan Cave's global Internation Trade practice group. He is also the managing partner of the firm's Shanhai office and China Practice. He focuses on international transactions, project development and government compliance in Asia. He also counsels U.S. companies and their Asian operations on compliance matters with respect to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Kellie Holloway Jarman currently serves as the Project Director for the U.S. Department of Commerce's China Business Information Center. In this capacity, Ms. Jarman advises American companies on successfully doing business in China. She also manages an Advisory Board specializing in practical export-oriented guidance to American businesses. Previously, she worked for the U.S. Commercial Service at the American Embassy in Beijing.
