See Carl Pfalzgraf's video invitation...RESTON, Va., — RVIA’s 2008 Annual Meeting, to be held March 1– 4 at the Fairmont Orchid Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii, will offer attendees numerous opportunities to learn about the association, attend educational seminars and interact with business colleagues.

The fourth annual Supplier Appreciation Day once again promises to be one of the most popular events at the meeting. On March 2, member suppliers will sponsor a full day of events starting with a compelling seminar program.

Dr. Lowell Catlett, Regent’s Professor of Economics, Agriculture and Genetic Engineering at New Mexico State University, will deliver an economic outlook. Dr. Catlett first addressed RVIA attendees at the association’s 2004 Annual Meeting, and meeting attendees were impressed by his knowledge of technologies and their implications on the way we will live and work in the future.

Jack Uldrich, president of The NanoVeritas Group – a technology consultancy dedicated to helping business, government and non-profit organizations prepare for and incorporate emerging technologies – will deliver an address tailored specifically for the RV industry on how industry members can benefit from the newest technologies.

Finally, Morton Kondrake, Executive Editor of Capitol Hill's independent newspaper Roll Call, will present "A View from Washington". Known to millions of Americans for his 17 years of regular appearances on The McLaughlin Group, Morton Kondracke is now co-host of The Beltway Boys on FOX. Kondrake will offer an insider’s look at what is really going on inside Washington and what changes the next elections might bring.

The Annual Meeting Golf Tournament, always a popular event, is scheduled on the afternoon of March 2. A special event is being planned for non-golfers and the day will finish with a Dinner/Party Event.

On March 3, the day will start with the Membership Meeting and conclude with the Chairman's Reception and Dinner.

Nestled on 32 ocean-front acres on the Kohala Coast, the Fairmont Orchid provides an ideal setting for new members to introduce themselves to their industry colleagues, renew friendships and discuss the issues facing the industry. For all members, the Annual Meeting is the place to expand their network of contacts, get information to work smarter and meet the future with product that will be in demand.
