NHTSA Reporting Seminar [View]
The Standards Department hosted a NHTSA Reporting Seminar on May 4, 2016 at the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart. This event was sponsored by Thor Industries and Forest River, Inc. The purpose of this seminar was to give an overview on NHTSA and its major processes that affect the RV industry. In addition, the goals were to educate Industry suppliers and OEM vehicle manufacturers about their critical federal reporting requirements, best practices for doing so and provide a detailed review of each FMVSS requirement and identify who is obligated under the law to comply.
