Driving Policy Webinar: USTR Decision on Lauan

Oct 21, 2019

Join us Wednesday, November 20 for an update on major trade issues facing the RV industry, including the long-awaited decision from the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) on lauan plywood. RV Industry Association’s Manager of Government and Political Affairs Samantha Rocci will discuss USTR’s decision to approve the industry’s petition for a Competitive Need Limitation Waiver. Approval reintroduces lauan plywood from Indonesia to the Generalized System of Preferences program, saving the industry $1 million a month in duties.

In just 20 minutes, Samantha will walk you through the decision and what it means for your business. She will also provide updates on other trade issues affecting the RV industry such as Chinese tariffs and opportunity for companies to save money with the Miscellaneous Tariff Bill.

The member-only webinar will be held on Wednesday, November 20 at 2 pm ET.
