RV Industry Makes A Big Impact On Giving Tuesday

Dec 1, 2022

Giving Tuesday, which takes place every year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. Individuals, nonprofits, small businesses, foundations, and more spend the day giving back to charitable organizations in their communities and the greater public.

The RV industry values making a positive impact on its local communities and many RV Industry companies and organizations make regular efforts to volunteer their time and donate their resources. Check out below how industry members participated in Giving Tuesday 2022.

Winnebago Industries

Winnebago Industries, an RV and marine manufacturer, raised a record-breaking $1.2 million from employees, board members, and partners as part of their annual CommunityGO campaign, which encourages team members to support local and national nonprofits. The campaign is just one part of Winnebago Industries’ dedication to its communities and inspiring others to explore the great outdoors.

THOR Industries

RV manufacturer THOR Industries is encouraging donations to the National Forest Foundation, the only nonprofit dedicated to addressing the challenges facing 193 million acres of national forests and grasslands. THOR Industries’ multi-year partnership with the National Forest Foundation places a much-needed focus on conserving public lands for the enjoyment of RVers and outdoor enthusiasts for generations to come.
