Spanish Exam Pilot Program Update

The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) has officially completed its Level 1 Spanish Exam Pilot Program. The pilot provided valuable insight into offering RVTI certification exams in Spanish and helped establish the process for making Spanish-language testing available as part of RVTI’s ongoing certification program.

With the pilot now complete, Level 1 certification exams are available in Spanish upon request. Candidates should first purchase the appropriate Level 1 exam through the normal registration process. After purchase, the Spanish version may be requested by emailing Certification@RVTI.org. If a Spanish exam is not specifically requested, the exam will be provided in English.

The availability of the Level 1 exams in Spanish is another step toward expanding access to RV Technical Institute certification and supporting more technicians as they build their skills and advance within the RV industry.

Why It Matters

The Spanish pilot program is about more than just a test; it’s about making the RV career path viable and appealing for Spanish speakers, actively recruiting a vital segment of the population into the industry. The program also provides a long-awaited opportunity for skilled Spanish-speaking techs to gain the formal certification that validates their expertise and advances their careers.

The introduction of Spanish-language materials and exams will focus on recruitment and certification.

  1. Enhanced Recruitment: The availability of Spanish-language resources makes the RV technician career path more appealing and viable for Spanish speakers, actively recruiting a vital segment of the population into the industry.
  2. Certification for Existing Techs: It provides an immediate and long-awaited opportunity for skilled, existing Spanish-speaking RV technicians to gain the formal certification that validates their expertise and advances their careers.
