House RV Caucus Founder To Speak At Welcome Reception

Apr 25, 2019

When members of the RV industry gather in DC this June to advocate for policies important to the industry, it is only fitting that one of the industry’s most steadfast champions be there to welcome them. Congressman Dennis A. Ross, one of the founders of the influential RV Caucus, will speak on Monday, June 3 at the Welcome Reception for RVs Move America Week.

During the Welcome Reception, Ross will share insights on how to be most effective in our advocacy efforts as members prepare to meet with Congressional and Administration officials later in the week. As the co-founder of the House RV Caucus, Ross has been an advocate of the industry for many years and is an avid RVer. In early 2018, Ross received the RV Industry Association’s National Legislative Award for his dedication to legislative matters affecting the RV Industry.

Ross retired from Congress earlier this year, but he continues to use his deep understanding and passion for the RV industry to support our issues. While in Congress, Ross championed the passage of the REC Act, co-sponsored the GSP technical fix legislation, delivered positive testimony during congressional hearings, advanced the RV Industry Association’s campground modernization and expansion initiative and much more.

If you have not already registered to be a part of RVs Move America Week, it's not too late to register to join over 100 industry executives from across the RV industry for advocacy meetings on June 4 and 5. We'll be meeting with Congressional and Administration officials, forging relationships beneficial to business and raising awareness of issues affecting the RV industry. This year, the updated RVs Move America Economic Impact study will be released on Capitol Hill with the House and Senate RV Caucuses.
