Navarro College Announces Summer 2026 RV Technician Classes
To elevate customer service standards, the RV industry needs technicians who can hit the ground running. With this goal in mind, the RV Technical Institute has partnered with Navarro College to launch its Summer 2026 RV technician training schedule. This intensive, two-week program is specifically engineered to prepare techs for the service bay.
While mechanical mastery is essential, true operational efficiency stems from the intersection of skill, safety, and professionalism. Navarro College delivers this by pairing RVTI Level 1 Certification with intensive shop-readiness training.
Week One is dedicated to the RVTI Level 1 curriculum, providing the foundational knowledge on propane, electrical, plumbing, and appliances that dealers rely on. Students will receive hands-on training with fifth wheels and travel trailers to take the nationally recognized RVTI Level 1 certification exam.
In addition to learning the basic skills to become a RVTI Level 1 Certified Technician, attendees will gain additional workplace “soft skills” such as professionalism, computer skills, and writing repair orders. The second week’s list of topics include:
- Basic computer skills
- Read & write repair orders
- Professionalism in the workplace
- OSHA 10 certification
- Customer service
- Workplace communication
For a program cost of $1,200, people interested in an RV technician career can secure training that covers both technical certification and essential shop readiness skills. The program is 80 hours.
Registration is currently open for one of the following two-week blocks:
- Session 1: June 8– June 19, 2026
- Session 2: July 13 – July 24, 2026
Classes run 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST. Applications are due two weeks prior to start dates.
