Registration Opens For RV Technical Institute, Truma’s June Advanced Training Session

May 6, 2025

Registration is open for the RV Technical Institute and Truma's June 16th course covering the Truma AquaGo on-demand water heater and the Truma Combi 2-in-1 furnace and water heater. This free 8-hour course will take place at the RV Technical Institute in Elkhart, IN.

By taking this course, participants can earn 8 hours of credit towards the RV Technical Institute’s Level 3 Appliance Specialist certification, which covers furnaces, instantaneous water heaters, and hydronic/combination units. The certificate of completion provided by Truma can then be used as part of your RV Technical Institute Level 3 Appliance application.

By offering this course, the RV Technical Institute and partners like Truma are further investing in enhanced technician training, with the ultimate goal of an improved RVing experience.

To attend the course, technicians must be an RV Technical Institute Level 2 technician or above. Failure to meet this requirement will automatically forfeit registration. Up to 20 individuals may attend the training.

The required prerequisite marks an achievement for the RV Technical Institute. The course’s Level 2 pre-requisite allows technical knowledge to be immediately delivered at a higher level, enhancing productivity and outcome. Additionally, this means that technicians are away from their dealerships for less time.

Vendors and suppliers interested in partnering with the RV Technical Institute to host RV technician training courses at the Institute are welcome to contact Vice President of Education and Operations Sharonne Lee at slee@rvti.org.
