RV Industry Association Announces Nominations For 2027 Board Of Directors

Nominations have been finalized for the RV Industry Association Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors is the highest-level authority in the Association’s overall organizational structure and is responsible for setting and overseeing strategy and policies related to critical topics such as standards, marketing, government affairs, industry education, statistical data, and Association finances.

Seven candidates are running for this year’s three open seats. Members will have the opportunity to cast their votes in late August through mid-September to fill one RV manufacturer seat, one Park Model RV manufacturer seat, and one supplier seat. This year, the election takes place from August 24th through September 14th, and the results are announced near the end of September. The newly elected board members will begin serving their 3-year terms on January 1, 2027.

Each member company is permitted one vote, cast by the member's official representative. More information will be shared in the coming weeks with specific details on how to vote.

RV Manufacturers

Ashley Bontrager Lehman, Ember Recreational Vehicles, Inc.

Ashley Bontrager Lehman is the Founder, President, and CEO of Ember Recreational Vehicles, an independently owned RV manufacturer she launched in 2021. Under Ashley’s leadership, Ember has grown from a start-up into a nationally distributed towable RV manufacturer serving dealers and owners across the United States and Canada. She has guided the company’s expansion into new market segments, development of multiple product lines, continued quality-focused improvements, and strategic dealer network growth while preserving Ember’s independence and long-term purpose. Innovation remains central to Ashley’s leadership. Ember’s products and proprietary features have earned multiple industry awards, and the company continues to invest in customer-driven intellectual property, receiving its first U.S. patent grant in July 2026.

Before founding Ember, Ashley spent over a decade at Jayco, advancing through marketing roles before serving as Director of Corporate Marketing. After graduating from Butler University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising, Ashley was an Event Marketing Specialist at GEICO, and a Legislative Correspondent at the US House of Representatives.

Ashley serves on the RV Industry Association’s Board of Directors, Government Affairs Committee, and Governance Committee. She previously served on the RV Industry Association’s Emerging Leaders Coalition from 2022 through 2025. Locally, she serves as a member of the Community Foundation of Elkhart County’s Foundations Relations Committee. Her leadership has been recognized through Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana–Elkhart County’s Havilah Beardsley Recognition for Young Entrepreneur, the South Bend Regional Chamber’s Michiana Forty Under 40, and RV PRO’s 40 Under 40.

She lives in Goshen, Indiana, with her husband and two sons.

Greg Wallman, Space Craft MFG

Greg has been the owner and president of Space Craft MFG since 2018. Prior to owning Space Craft MFG, Greg started his career at Deloitte as an auditor, involved with Fortune 500 companies, IPO’s, and mergers and acquisitions. Greg moved into the banking industry, including positions such as controller and EVP of mortgage operations. Greg then moved on to manager and director in an international and regional consulting firm, involved with SEC tasks including Sarbanes Oxley & Enterprise Risk Management, and filling executive roles like interim CFO, leading an investment round for an international healthcare organization.

Space Craft MFG produces fully customizable towable RVs, focused on travel trailers, traditional 5th wheels, 5th wheels designed to be towed by semi tractors, and specialty trailers like veterinary hospitals, mobile air traffic control, mobile shower units, and disaster recovery support. Space Craft MFG’s units are all over the world on at least 3 continents. Space Craft MFG prides itself on driving innovation and pushing long-term quality as the company’s main objective.

Greg has been a voting member on the RV Industry Association Standards Steering Committee since 2020, and has served multiple subcommittees and task forces, including electrical, lithium safety, and A/C standards. He regularly attends RVs Move America Week, participating in over 25 meetings with House and Senate members across at least three states. He also supports his team on the Emerging Leaders Coalition, including Space Craft MFG’s first coalition member and attending the annual Leadership Conference. Greg also presented to the Emerging Leaders Coalition on the concept of leadership. 

Locally, Greg has been a Chamber of Commerce board member, involved in multiple municipal efforts, including organizing the city’s first Freedom Festival. He was also on the municipal mural committee, installing multiple patriotic murals, leading to the Missouri Legislature officially recognizing Concordia as the Patriotic Mural Capital of Missouri.

Park Model RV Manufacturer

John Tuyo, Champion Homes

John is the Director of Park Model Sales for Champion Homes, a role he’s held since 2023. A passionate advocate for the park model industry, John has been an active participant of the RV Industry Association’s Park Model Committee since 2023. John is active in all facets of the park model business, including traveling to Washington, D.C. for RVs Move America Week for the last three years to advocate for the industry with local and national legislative leaders from across the country.

In his leadership role at Champion Homes, the nation’s largest park model builder, John is driven by his passion to provide an exceptional customer experience for park and campground owners, operators, and end customers through the company’s national scale, personalized support, and unmatched variety.  Having 16 plants building Park Models across the company allows understanding of all markets in the US.

John has 34 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, including previous roles as Owner of T3 Land Services, Regional Vice President of Jim Walter Homes from 2007 to 2012, and multiple management roles with 3 manufacturers. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville.

Trevor Kropf, Kropf Industries, Inc.

Trevor has worked at Kropf Industries, Inc., since 2010, first as Controller and now as General Manager since 2021. Prior to that, Trevor served as Staff Accountant at Kruggel, Lawton & Company, LLC. Trevor has served on the RV Industry Association Board of Directors since 2021. He also serves as the Chair of the Campground Coalition formed in 2023 to unite different segments of the RV Industry and has served on the Park Model RV Committee since 2021, the Awards Committee since 2025, and as an Advocacy Day participant from 2022-2026. Trevor is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University, South Bend.

Trevor was the recipient of the RV Pro 40 under 40 Award in 2023. He also received the RV Business Industry Leadership Award in 2025.

Trevor volunteers his time in the community by serving on numerous committees and boards, including Northridge High School and Elcona Country Club. He and his wife are avid supporters of Middlebury Community Schools, helping to raise funds for academic and athletic improvements. Trevor lives in Goshen, IN, with his wife and three children.

Suppliers

Mike Cheney, Valto Engineered Materials

Mike Cheney is Vice President, Recreational Vehicles at Valto Engineered Materials (formerly Crane Composites) in Channahon, Illinois. Since joining the RV industry in 2014, Mike has been an active leader within the RV Industry Association, serving on the Supplier Committee since 2020 and as its Chair for the past two years. He has also served on the Membership Committee for the past two years and has advocated on behalf of the supplier community during the Association’s annual Capitol Hill Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C. for the past four years.

Before joining Valto, Mike held leadership positions in engineering, procurement, and supplier quality with Emerson Power Transmission and Cabot Microelectronics. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University and is a certified six sigma blackbelt.

Mark Howlett, Truma North America

Mark Howlett is President & CEO of Truma North America and has spent the past 13 years helping shape the RV industry through leadership, innovation, and industry engagement. Mark joined Truma in 2013 to establish and grow the company's North American presence. Since then, he has worked closely with RV manufacturers, dealers, suppliers, regulators, and industry partners to advance technologies and solutions that enhance the RV ownership experience. As the leader of a North American subsidiary of a global RV supplier, Mark brings a unique perspective on both domestic and international industry trends and opportunities.

Beyond his executive leadership role, Mark is deeply involved in industry governance and standards development. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) Board of Directors, is a member of the RV Industry Association Standards Committee, chairs the RV-C Subcommittee, and serves on the CSA Technical Committee responsible for the Z240 recreational vehicle standard. Through these roles, he has worked collaboratively with manufacturers, suppliers, and regulators to promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the industry.

As a candidate for the RV Industry Association Board of Directors, Mark is committed to supporting the long-term growth and competitiveness of the RV industry. He believes the future will be increasingly shaped by global collaboration, with expanding participation from European, Australian, and Asian manufacturers and suppliers bringing new opportunities for innovation and market growth. He is passionate about strengthening supplier engagement, advancing product quality and safety standards, and ensuring that exceptional consumer experiences remain at the center of industry decision-making. Mark seeks to contribute a balanced supplier perspective, a global outlook, and a proven commitment to industry stewardship on behalf of RV Industry Association members.

Heather Jenks, Genesis Products

Heather is Vice President of RV Sales at Genesis Products in Elkhart, Indiana, a position she has held since 2015. She has over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry; 19 years at Genesis Products and 11 years as Sales Manager at Doors Plus (1998-2007). Heather has served on the RV Industry Association Board since 2024 and currently serves on the Association’s Market Information Committee, Government Committee, and the Campground Coalition. Heather's decision to get involved in these committees was inspired after attending RV’s Move America Week in Washington, DC.

She has been heavily involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart County for over 10 years and has served on the Goshen Board for 9 years. She volunteers throughout the year at many organizations, including Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, Elkhart County 4H Fair, and the RV Industry Association’s Park Improvement events. Heather received her Bachelor of Science degree from Goshen College.
