RV Industry Association Announces Panelists for Regulatory & Safety Compliance Seminar

This year, the Regulatory & Safety Compliance (RSC) Seminar will welcome keynote speaker, Will Godfrey, Director of Mobility, Automation, and Safety at Thompson Hine LLP, as well as a panel consisting of industry compliance veterans where attendees will have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions. The panelists are:

• Mike Becker, Head of Compliance, Forest River
• Dennis Carl, NHTSA and Quality Leader, Brinkley RV
• Troy Cornell, Director of Product Safety and Compliance, Winnebago Industries 
• David Mihalick, Vice President Vehicle Safety & Regulatory Compliance, THOR Industries
• Michael Nevin, Enterprise Product Safety Lead, Winnebago Industries
• David Stevenson, Quality Team Leader, ATC Trailers
• Pamela VanderMel, Vice President of Warranty, Lippert

Three of these panels will be moderated by Von Lindsey, Owner, Lindsey Research Services, and the panel on How to Responsibly Use AI in Regulatory & Safety Compliance will be moderated by Nick Woolsey, Ph.D., Scientist, Exponent.

The panelist discussions will cover a wide range of topics, including:

• Identifying a Safety Issue; 
• Sustaining a Safety Culture; 
• How to Responsibly Use AI in Regulatory & Safety Compliance; and 
• Collaboration with Dealers on Recall Management.

The event will commence at 8am on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in the Crystal Ballroom at the Lerner Theatre in downtown Elkhart, Ind., and is scheduled to end at 12:00pm. Breakfast will be provided.
