RV Industry Association Member Update Regarding COVID-19

Mar 12, 2020

Dear RV Industry Association Members,

As your companies and the RV industry respond to the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), the RV Industry Association has been proactive in its efforts to stay engaged with the latest developments in how the government, other manufacturing industries, and private businesses have been managing its unprecedented impact. As your association, we want to provide you with recent actions we will be taking for employee and member health and safety, as well as additional information and resources that we've collected to guide your decisions as the situation evolves.

Following in the footsteps of recent decisions made by our members, the RV Industry Association is pausing all business travel for staff effective immediately. In addition, we will be postponing in-person association meetings for the near future, however, committee chairs should work with their committees to determine whether their meetings can take place via teleconference. There are currently no plans to postpone or cancel RVs Move America Week. We will continue to assess the situation as the dates for that event draw closer.

RV Industry Association staff has developed two FAQ documents for our members on the member-only section of our website: "A Summary Guide to the Coronavirus Response" and "Additional Considerations for the Coronavirus Response". These documents can be used as a starting point or a helpful guide in your internal discussions. They contain information compiled from government agencies, associations, and other manufacturing businesses, including direct links to additional information.

The RV Industry Association will continue to monitor the spread of this virus and its potential impact on the RV industry. Our top priority is the safety of our industry's employees, members and communities. Please let us know if you have any additional questions, our email and cell phone information is below. We will continue to be in contact as we gather additional information.

Regards,

Craig Kirby
