RV Industry Association’s Government Affairs Team Hosts Capitol Hill Reception, Highlights RV Caucus And Industry Achievements

On Monday, December 15, the RV Industry Association’s Government Affairs team hosted a reception in the Rayburn House Office Building to celebrate the RV sector’s successes throughout 2025. Reception attendees included Rep. Rudy Yakym (R-IN) and Rep. Mark Messmer (R-IN), as well as Capitol Hill staffers.
During the event, the Government Affairs team highlighted the RV industry’s contributions to the economy, healthy outdoor recreation experiences, emerging camping technologies, and job creation across states and districts. The team also spoke with Hill staffers to raise further awareness about the RV Caucus and its initiatives. The Caucus is co-chaired by Yakym and Rep. Dina Titus (D-NV).

Rep. Messmer joined the RV Caucus the same day that the reception took place. Messmer and Yakym spoke during the event, highlighting the importance of the RV industry and its impact on the economy in Indiana, the “RV Capital of the World.”
The House and Senate RV Caucus Members are the champions for the RV industry and RV lifestyle on Capitol Hill by advocating on behalf of the industry on issues such as campground modernization, taxes, and trade issues. As the RV industry prepares for 2026, these discussions are a key component of ensuring policymakers understand the industry’s impact and priorities.
