RV Women’s Alliance And RVWA Charitable Foundation Welcome New Board Members Effective January 1, 2026
The RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) and the RVWA Charitable Foundation (RVWACF) announce the appointment of new Board Members who began their terms on January 1. These accomplished leaders bring diverse expertise and a shared commitment to advancing the RV Women's Alliance's mission to elevate, educate, and promote women in the RV industry, while expanding the Foundation’s impact through scholarships, professional development, and charitable initiatives.
“We are excited to have these talented people on our boards to help drive our mission forward,” said Susan Carpenter, President. “Their leadership, experience, and passion for creating opportunity will help us grow our programs and strengthen the community we serve.”
RV Women’s Alliance — New Board Members:
Michele McDermott, THOR Industries: Michele has been with THOR since January 2024 and currently serves as their Chief Human Resources Officer. She was previously with Hub Group as their Executive Vice President and CHRO and has also served in leadership roles at Assurance, National Express Group, and United Service Companies. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lewis University and Master of Business Administration in Finance and Operations from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
Denyse Pontius, Century Chemical: Denyse has enjoyed serving many branches of the outdoor industry in her 20+ years at Century, helping to provide solutions to all types of travelers with almost every means of transport - plane, train, bus, boat, car or coach. For Denyse, working in the outdoor industry is about more than the trip or destination. It’s about caring for and protecting our environment all along the way and encouraging others to do the same.
Jennifer Pendley, Cummins: Jen works for Cummins, based in their Elkhart office. She has had a very diverse career through Cummins all centered around RV Generator, manufacturing, distribution, and sales. She was recently promoted to lead the RV Accessory Business and is also a senior account manager for many key accounts at Cummins. Jen serves as the Board Chairman for United Way, leading impactful community initiatives that create real change and was recently named to the Emerging Leader Coalition for the RV Industry Association, as well as being active in their programs and committees.
RV Women's Alliance Charitable Foundation — New Board Members:
Kori Miller, Jayco: Kori has been a dedicated leader in the RV industry for nearly 30 years. She played a key role in new software implementation on the materials and purchasing side and is a strong, hands-on leader for her company’s materials group. Korrina is known for her ability to step into a variety of roles across departments, providing support wherever it’s needed to keep operations running smoothly. Driven by a desire to help others and give back to her community, Korrina is eager to contribute her experience, teamwork mindset, and leadership skills to the charitable board.
Samantha Bose, ACE Adventure Company: Samantha has spent the past seven years traveling with her family in a camper van. With over 20 years in photography, she began working with RV companies on content and storytelling before launching ACE Adventure Co., an adventure and event company that hosts camping experiences that give back. This led her to create a purpose-led outdoor community that turns adventure into connection.
In their new roles, board members will help guide strategic initiatives, support program development, and champion efforts that expand access to education, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities for women across the RV industry.
