RVs Move America Week Welcomes Keynote Speakers Jason Smith, Scott Jennings

House Ways and Means Chair Jason Smith (R-MO) kicked off the Tuesday lunch with a Q&A with RV Industry Association Vice President of Government Affairs Jason Rano and Winnebago Industries Vice President of Government and Industry Relations Chad Reece. Smith shared his enthusiasm for the RV industry, the evolution of his role in politics, and tax policy’s significance in the current presidential administration.
“On the heels of his leading role in passing the tax reconciliation package through the House it was wonderful to have Chairman Smith join us and talk through the latest on tax and trade and the priorities for the House Ways and Means Committee,” said Rano.

Attendees also heard from Scott Jennings, a senior conservative commentator on CNN known for his sharp insights, humor, and engaging debates on major political events. Jennings has become a fixture of CNN’s election and major event coverage, drawing on decades of experience advising top leaders, including serving as Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and working on four presidential campaigns.
During his speech, Jennings covered his own appreciation for the outdoors, his career path in politics, the changing demographics of the Republican party, and more.
The RV Industry Association would like to thank Winnebago Industries for sponsoring Tuesday’s lunch.
