Standards Seminar Materials Available, Q&A Follow-Up Webinar Scheduled

The RV Industry Association Standards team held a seminar at the Lerner Theatre on May 21, 2026, with over 70 people in attendance. The seminar reviewed the changes to the 2026 NFPA 1192, 2026 NEC 70, and 2025 Standard for DC Voltage Systems in Recreational Vehicles. The 2025 ANSI 119.5 and 2023 Z240 were also reviewed.

Due to the reorganization of the NFPA 1192 and Standard for DC Voltage Systems, many sections were moved. The Standards team created a tool in Excel to help locate the corresponding section numbers between versions. For NFPA 1192, a 2021 section number can be entered in the 2021 blue cell, or a 2026 section number can be entered in the 2026 blue cell. The corresponding section number of the other version will be displayed in the green cell. A separate section for the Standard for DC Voltage Systems is also included.
