Texas Travel Talk: Family Fun At North Texas Jellystone Park

May 5, 2022

The Go RVing PR team works with media outlets across the country to tell the real-life stories of RVers and introduce even more consumers to the RVing lifestyle. Recently, they sponsored Texas Travel Talk author Kim Croisant's trip to North Texas Jellystone Park, where she and her family enjoyed all the outdoor recreation activities the park had to offer.

Bring the Family and Get a Hug from Yogi Bear at NTX Jellystone Park

Jellystone Parks were created to bring the whole family together for memories to cherish for a lifetime. The all-inclusive family parks are ready to serve you and your family this summer and throughout the year! Here is the scoop on NTX Jellystone Park and the five other parks in Texas.

We had an old-fashioned family camping weekend at North Texas Jellystone Park in Burleson, TX, located 15 minutes south of Fort Worth and about 40 minutes west of Dallas. It was named 2017 Campground of the Year for excellence in management, operations, appearance, and performance. I can attest to that – the entire team here was spot on! If you’re looking for an ideal location to create lasting family memories and awesome family camping, put Jellystone Park in Burleson, TX, on your list to visit!

How can you not resist Yogi Bear? He’s such an icon that every kid and adult loves.

Even though my son had a splint on his left hand, he managed to have the time of his life. And, who can resist getting their picture taken with Yogi Bear?

This Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Campground at North Texas Jellystone Park was the highlight of Brody’s spring. Not sure how summer is going to top this!

CABINS AND RV RENTALS AT NORTH TEXAS JELLYSTONE PARK

Our cabin (behind us in the above photo) has a full kitchen and one bath and will sleep 6-8 comfortably. Brody had the loft all to himself, and I took the bedroom. I also like plenty of outdoor space for the kids (and adults) to play, with a picnic table for each cabin. This area would be the perfect place for a family reunion, plus you would be right next to Pirates Cove.

Cornhole was right there, so we took advantage. He beats me every time!

Travel Pro Tip: A variety of pet-friendly RV sites are available.

According to Go RVing, Park Model RVs (often called deluxe Cabins or Cottages) are unique units that provide temporary accommodations for recreation, camping, or seasonal use. Park Model RVs are designed to look like a home, but they need to be hooked up to site electricity, sewer, and water like any RV. They may have a front porch and a sleeping loft. These RVs are a great way to experience the campground lifestyle if you don’t have an RV or all the gear for tent camping.
