Aliner’s Brett Randall Advocates For Outdoor Recreation Alongside Governor Shapiro

On Wednesday, September 10, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro announced his Administration is taking new steps to help outdoor businesses grow, connect with employees, and compete in Pennsylvania's economy.
Aliner President & CEO Brett Randall along with Outdoor Business Alliance of PA Interim Executive Director Silas Chamberlin, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Director of Outdoor Recreation Nathan Reigner, and REI President & CEO Mary Beth Laughton also spoke at the event.
During the event, Randall spoke about Pennsylvania-based RV manufacturer Aliner, which employs about 95 Pennsylvanians, sources from 25 local suppliers, and generates approximately $4 million in in-state sales annually. The company— which is located in Mt. Pleasant, PA— has played a key role in shaping the Outdoor Business Alliance of Pennsylvania, a statewide network that has implemented a business growth plan shaped by more than 1,000 Pennsylvania companies and industry leaders. The network was established in 2023.

“We’re proud to build opportunity here in Pennsylvania — not just campers, but jobs and partnerships,” said Randall, . “This kind of support shows that Pennsylvania is serious about growing the outdoor economy.”
Governor Shapiro aims to continue growing Pennsylvania’s $19 billion outdoor recreation industry, which now supports more than 168,000 jobs statewide. During the announcement at REI, Governor Shapiro and Director Reigner shared that the Outdoor Business Alliance will be focused on supporting small business growth, spurring workforce development, increasing access to capital by establishing new outdoor recreation initiatives, and fostering industry collaboration with statewide and national events.
