Minnesota PFAS Reporting Deadline Extension Available; RV Industry Assoc. Coordinating Group Extension Request

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is accepting requests for a one-time, 90-day extension of the state's initial PFAS-in-products reporting deadline. The current reporting deadline is September 15, 2026, for manufacturers that sold, offered for sale, or distributed products in Minnesota on or after January 1, 2026, containing intentionally added PFAS. Only products manufactured on or after July 1, 2023, need to be reported.

To assist members, the RV Industry Association is coordinating a group extension request to MPCA. If approved, participating companies will have until December 14, 2026, to submit their required PFAS reports.

MPCA requires group extension requests to include a participating company list, a signed certification from each company, and brief statements describing:

• Why additional time is needed;
• Steps already taken to comply with the reporting requirements; and
• The plan to complete reporting by the extended deadline.

MPCA has indicated that extension requests should be concise and focused and do not require extensive supporting documentation.

A $300 fee per company is required for the extension request. The RV Industry Association will submit a single payment on behalf of participating members and will invoice each company for its individual fee.

Member Action Required

Members wishing to participate in the RV Industry Association's group extension request should notify the RV Industry Association no later than Friday, July 31, 2026. This will allow the RV Industry Association sufficient time to prepare and submit the group request before MPCA's August 16, 2026, filing deadline.
