RV Industry Association’s Emerging Leaders Coalition To Host Park Restoration Project On May 11

Mar 29, 2022

Please join the RV industry for a volunteer park restoration project at Potato Creek State Park on Wednesday, May 11. Hosted by the RV Industry Association's Emerging Leaders Coalition, this event will launch a new initiative aimed at improving parks for RVers across the country. With more and more Americans turning to RVs as the ideal way to experience an active outdoor lifestyle, it's become critical that our parks are given the attention they need and deserve.

Your support will be needed all day. Volunteer projects may include building an amphitheater, rebuilding or replacing footbridges, building benches and seating next to the Nature Center, restoring and repairing the fish cleaning station, repairing and restoring bathroom exteriors, and repainting and reinstalling park signs. Volunteers can sign up for a single shift or multiple shifts in the following time slots:

  • 8:30 am - 11:30 am
  • 11:30 am - 2:30 pm
  • 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
