Government Affairs Team Makes Meeting With Your Member Of Congress Easy

Jun 9, 2021

Normally, over 150 members of the RV industry would be on Capitol Hill this week meeting with members of Congress as a part of RVs Move America Week. These meetings are critical to gaining support on a variety of industry initiatives by telling our industry’s unique story and leaving a compelling imprint on federal policymakers. While the industry may not be able to meet in person with policymakers this week, the Association’s Government Affairs team is here to make your next meeting with your elected officials as easy as possible.

“The impact of constituents meeting with their elected officials in Washington cannot be overstated, but there are still ways for our members to continue to advocate for industry priorities even when we cannot be walking the halls of Congress,” said RV Industry Association Vice President of Government Affairs Jay Landers. “Whether meeting with your representatives virtually or hosting a policymaker at your company, our team is here to prepare you for a successful meeting, just as we have always done ahead of Advocacy Day meetings.”

The RV Industry Association’s Government Affairs Team can help prepare you for meetings or company visits by provide talking points, policy positions, and scheduling assistance.

“We can’t wait to be back in DC next June with all of our industry friends, but in the meantime, our team continues to be the voice for the industry on policy issues at the federal and state level,” continued Landers. “And we are ready to help you make your voice a part of those efforts as well.”
