Last Call For Potato Creek Volunteers

Mark your calendars! The Emerging Leaders Coalition Industry Volunteer Day is now less than two weeks away. Hosted by the RV Industry Association's Emerging Leaders Coalition, the upcoming volunteer park restoration project is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 11, at Potato Creek State Park. The event will launch a new initiative aimed at improving parks for RVers across the country. With more and more Americans turning to RVs as the ideal way to experience an active outdoor lifestyle, it's become critical that our parks are given the attention they need and deserve.

Your support will be needed all day. Volunteer projects may include building an amphitheater, rebuilding or replacing footbridges, building benches and seating next to the Nature Center, restoring and repairing the fish cleaning station, repairing and restoring bathroom exteriors, and repainting and reinstalling park signs. Volunteers can sign up for a single shift or multiple shifts in the following time slots:

• 8:30 am - 11:30 am
• 11:30 am - 2:30 pm
• 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
