RV Technical Institute Hiring Director Of Education

The RV Technical Institute is currently hiring a Director of Education to oversee the development and maintenance of the Institute’s curriculum contents. This role is critical to the mission of the RV Technical Institute to provide world-class training for RV maintenance and repair that will reduce the RV industry’s shortfall of trained RV technicians. This position requires a Level 2 certification although a Level 4 certification would be preferred.

Responsibilities for the Director of Education role include, but are not limited to:

  • Curriculum maintenance including mapping certification content with curriculum content and providing assistance with certification testing content.
  • Managing instructional staff schedules and projects and acting as part time and fill in instructor. 
  • Participating in standards technical subcommittees, the Standard Steering Committee Meeting, and other technical and curriculum subcommittees.
  • Managing the maintenance bay area and maintain teaching supply inventory.

In addition to the Director of Education position, the RV Technical Institute is also hiring an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the RV Technical Institute’s Executive Director/Senior Vice President of Standards and Vice President of Education and Operations. This position requires a minimum of five years administrative experience supporting two or more executives and at least a High School Diploma.

Administrative Assistant duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Use MS Office 365 and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents.
  • Answer phones and route calls to the appropriate department or employee.
  • Manage record database of internal information according to established procedures.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and internal and external meetings.
  • Prepare expense reports and check requests via a digital expense and check request system.

Both positions will be located at the RV Technical Institute’s headquarters in Elkhart, Ind.
